PW Junior Football Mission Statement

The Pewamo-Westphalia Jr. Football Program's primary mission is to instruct/coach the game of football in a safe and positive learning environment to the boys and girls in the communities of Pewamo and Westphalia who attend either the Pewamo- Westphalia Public Schools, Westphalia St. Mary’s School or Pewamo St. Joes School. Its mission is expanded to also help participants build healthy bodies, strong minds, high self-esteem, good moral and ethical character, and teach the concepts of teamwork and good sportsmanship all in support of a shared vision of the Pewamo-Westphalia High School Football Program.

PW Junior Football Flag League Philosophy

This program exists to serve the needs of our youth. All involved should be allowed to participate on an equal basis in a low competitive atmosphere. The primary focus should be on individual development, fundamentals and teamwork. The main emphasis is on having fun, involving the family, and developing a positive self-image. Good sportsmanship is expected at all times from the players, coaches, and parents. The goal of the league is to maintain participation levels from year to year. We hope each athlete will want to play the following year based on the positive experience they had the previous year.

As a coach in the Mid-Michigan Pony Football League (MMPFL), the Mid-Michigan Middle School League (MMMSL) or the PW Junior Football Flag program, I hereby promise to:

Registration successful.

Thank you for your application!
